Gallagher-Kaiser (GK) was contracted to provide all HVAC ductwork for the 1.8-million-square-foot Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, NV. Terminal 3 provides 14 new aircraft gates and terminal facilities for an existing 30-gate concourse that is linked by an underground ATS people mover system.
The multimillion ductwork contract included 85 air handling units delivering 2.5 million CFM supply air, 112 fans, and 3.8 million pounds of ductwork. GK was a key contributor in the 3-D coordination efforts, which resulted in the successful implementation of this project.
GK was the largest employer of sheet metal workers in Nevada during the lifespan of the project.
